Sigmavision to present New Technology at IRTE Conference 2016
The 2016 IRTE Conference takes place this year on 28th September at Eastwood Hall in Nottinghamshire.
The annual IRTE Conference is the premier UK event for fleet managers, transport engineers and workshop managers. This year’s programme boasts top level keynote speakers delivering presentations, seminars and workshops, a contribution from a DVSA representative and an update from the Senior Traffic Commissioner under the headline banner of Driving fleet operational efficiency, profitability and compliance.
Conference delegates will hear practical advice on how to make immediate fleet operational cost savings, stay up to date on the latest legal and compliance obligations and hear how future technology will affect your trucks, drivers and operations. Topics covered will include reducing CO2 emissions; FORS and CLOCS updates, fuel saving telematics and aero dynamics, sustainable road freight and future technologies.

The morning’s conference programme is followed by three seminar streams in the afternoon, focusing on legal issues, operations and new technologies. In the Technology stream, MD of Sigmavision, Dr Andrew Pryce will be speaking under the title “Redefining Tyre Measurement” to address the opportunity for laser measurement to improve tyre management and tyre safety.
