Successful launch of TreadManager at Automechanika Frankfurt
The innovative new tyre sales management service, TreadManager, was very well received at the show
New from Sigmavision at Automechanika was the global launch of the new TreadManager.net Tyre Sales Management Service. Developed for the tyre aftermarket, the service has been designed for workshops and dealerships wanting to increase tyre sales revenue and boost turnover from tyre-related services, such as wheel alignment.
Stand visitors were given a demonstration of the new service, and presented with TreadManager reports, which identify vehicles needing replacement tyres, or showing uneven tyre wear. The reports contain the distinctive TreadReader 3D tyre scans, which very quickly build trust between vehicle owner and tyre provider. Multiple scans for the same vehicle over time can be tracked to predict tyre lifetime and advise vehicle owners when to book in for replacement tyres.
Detailed Reporting and Visualisation of Tread Depth and Tyre Wear
Sigmavision Sales Director, Chris Coyle, explained that by logging in to the TreadManager Portal, workshops and Service Managers can view all data on the number of tyres they have scanned, see technician activity, and prioritise sales opportunities for new tyres and wheel alignments.
For larger workshops and Dealer locations using one or more TreadReader devices, TreadManager will track activity levels for both Hand Held scanners and Drive Over ramps, and numerous technicians. Also intended for multiple workshop locations, or multi-franchised dealerships, TreadManager™ offers a Group User profile, for reporting across any number of technicians, workshops and franchises.Read more about the Drive Over ramp installed at Taylors Approved Service Centre, Essex, UK
Perfect Partners: TreadManager and TreadReader
The TreadReader Hand Held scanner and Drive Over ramp are fully integrated with the new TreadManager service. TreadReader technology produces accurate tread depth reading for tyres of all vehicle types. Detailed 3D images of tread depth and tyre wear set this Sigmavision technology apart from other manual and digital tread depth gauges.
The technology is already used by global tyre manufacturers, including Continental, Nokian Tyres and garage equipment supplier Hunter Engineering. No other system on the global market produces 3D images, which also diagnose any wheel misalignment or incorrect tyre inflation. TreadReader products are available globally from Sigmavision and their network of distributors.
Visitors to the Sigmavision stand C31 in Hall 12 experienced live demonstrations of both the TreadReader Drive Over Ramp and Hand Held scanner. These products are designed for all workshops, dealerships and tyre retailers, wanting to increase tyre sales and wheel alignment revenues.
